Arriving on Campus - Fall 2017
Please plan to arrive in plenty of time so that you can acclimate yourself to campus and take care of any necessary details before orientation begins. Once on campus, you will need to take care of the following items:
Check In with the MSPE office staff
Take English Placement Test (only those international required to do so) on August 14, 15, 16, 17, or 18
ISSS international student check in
All new international students are required to report for check-in at the Office of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) upon arrival to campus. Visit the ISSS international student check-in website for detailed instructions.
ISSS offers an orientation program where attendance is optional but highly recommended. Sessions will detail your immigration status, banking in the U.S., student insurance, healthcare in the U.S., and other topics not covered in the MSPE orientation.
The ISSS Publications/Resources website contains links to several resources, which contains information on a variety of topics to assist in acclimating oneself to campus and the community.
University identification card (i-card)
Students must acquire a university identification card. Visit the i-card Programs website for detailed information.
McKinley Health Center
Students need to submit required medical forms to the McKinley Health Center.
Orientation begins on Monday, August 21, 2017. Attendance is required of all new students. During orientation you will meet other participants, staff, and faculty. Students will also receive further information regarding courses, the program structure, and enrichment activities planned throughout the academic year.
